**Open to all neighbors + foster parents in Brighton and surrounding areas.**

Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone can do something simple to help a foster family provide stability and comfort to kids.

This is an evening to connect with foster parents in the neighborhood, and to learn how you can support your foster parent neighbors.

Hosted by an active foster mom, we'll make connections between local foster parents and their neighbors who want to help. We will provide dinner and childcare.

We have two goals for this party:
1) Let guests meet their foster parent neighbors in real life.
2) Share the options of offering basic neighborly support to a foster family, including monthly dinner drop-off.

No commitment needed to attend. Simply come and learn. The magic happens when we are face to face with each other in community.

Are you bringing children?
We currently have room for 8 children to play games, do crafts, and watch a movie in a separate room of the host's home. We will provide basic supervision, but will need parents and foster parents to be aware/present to resolve any conflicts and assist with bathroom use.
For Neighbors: We take kids' safety seriously, & assist foster parents in learning about sexual abuse prevention & background checks. By openly sharing warning signs & red flags, we deter predators from our program. Are you willing to volunteer with families who actively watch for signs of predatory behavior?
